Project: Traditional Kitchen Transformation – Thornwood, NY

Before Image After Image

Client was utterly fed up with her outdated kitchen, overwhelmed by wood tones and those fiery reddish-orange tiles—yikes! She wanted a transformation, and we were determined to deliver. With two months on the clock and her suitcase packed for Seattle, she handed us the reins to her dream kitchen. No pressure, right?

First order of business: that soffit had to go! Little did we know, it was also the unsuspecting home to six drains! We had to break the news to her, and like a true trooper, she said, “Onward! Off with the drains!” So, we rolled up our sleeves, relocated those pesky drains, flushed two lvls, and removed the wall between the kitchen and family room. And lo and behold—what a phenomenal view we uncovered!

Our client had a strong love for traditional style with a desire for dark tones for contrast. To nail that look, our team selected oil-rubbed bronze accents and a rich oak espresso finish for the island, infusing the space with elegance and charm. Removing the wall truly transformed this kitchen into a chef's dream! Wouldn’t you agree?
