Project: Waterfront Kitchen Transformation – Nyack, NY

Before Image After Image

Located right on the water, this kitchen was once dark and gloomy, with an outdated, rustic sunroom that didn’t allow much sunlight. The client’s vision was to open up the space and create a bright, modern kitchen with a nautical touch to reflect the waterfront setting.

We got to work by completely tearing out the old sunroom, raising the ceiling height, and designing custom transom windows with horizontal mullions to let the light flood in. The vaulted ceiling added a sense of openness, while the abundance of windows framed the stunning views.

To enhance brightness and warmth, we selected navy blue for the lower cabinets and sleek white for the upper cabinets. The addition of recessed lighting further amplified the airy ambiance, while rustic porcelain tiles laid a foundation of inviting warmth.

The final result harmoniously blends modern functionality with coastal charm, offering a rejuvenated space that resonates with its waterfront surroundings.
